How many fertility acupuncture sessions will I need?
Most patients come weekly, and we usually plan around three months (about three menstrual cycles), because that's how long it takes to see a pattern in your cycle. If you're doing IVF or IUI, we'll also time visits around key dates like retrieval and transfer. After your first visit, we'll give you a plan based on your history and goals.
When should I start acupuncture before trying to conceive?
Ideally about three months before, since that's roughly how long an egg takes to mature. But it's never too late to start. Some patients begin just a few weeks before an IUI or transfer, and we'll tailor care to where you are.

No. We are an acupuncture and Chinese medicine clinic, not a medical fertility clinic. Many of our patients are also working with a reproductive endocrinologist, and we provide acupuncture support alongside their medical care.

Can I do acupuncture with IVF or IUI?
Yes. Many of our patients combine acupuncture with care from their fertility clinic. Acupuncture doesn't replace medical treatment. We work around your clinic's schedule, with support before stimulation, during your cycle, and around embryo transfer.

We plan sessions around your clinic's calendar. That often means visits in the months before your cycle, during stimulation, and before and after embryo transfer. Share your protocol dates with us and we'll build the schedule together.

Can acupuncture help irregular periods or PCOS?

No, and you should be cautious of anyone who says it can. Acupuncture can be one part of a bigger plan to support your health while you're trying to conceive. Every fertility journey is different, and results vary.
