Getting Here
from McLean

  • By car: about 13 miles, usually 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic. Most McLean patients take the Dulles Toll Road (VA-267) west.

  • By Metro: the Silver Line runs from McLean station to Herndon station. From there it’s a short ride to our office.

  • Address: 481 Carlisle Dr, Suite 116, Herndon, VA 20170

Because fertility care often means weekly visits, we help you pick appointment times that avoid the worst of rush hour and fit around your work and your fertility clinic’s monitoring appointments.

How Our Fertility Care Works

Your first visit (90 minutes)
We review your cycle history, test results, fertility treatment timeline, sleep, digestion, stress, and lifestyle. Then you have your first acupuncture treatment and leave with a plan. Here is more on what to expect at your first fertility visit.

Your treatment plan
Most patients come weekly, with treatment timed to each phase of the cycle. When it fits your pattern, we may recommend a customized Chinese herbal formula, which we always check against your fertility clinic’s medication plan.

Working alongside your doctor
Acupuncture doesn’t replace your reproductive endocrinologist or OB-GYN. We plan around your clinic’s protocol and never ask you to change your medical treatment.

What to Expect

Acupuncture is not a quick fix, and results vary.
Most McLean patients plan on about three months of care, since that is how long an egg takes to mature.

If your IVF date is only weeks away, it is still worth starting. We will be honest about what to expect at every step.
